The Goddard School located in Kirkland, WA is looking for a motivated self-starter for our Assistant Director of Education position at our school. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool is required. The candidate must have excellent organization, communication, and coaching skills, as well as a good understanding of age-appropriate activities for young children.

The Assistant Director of Education is an excellent communicator and coach, motivating and inspiring others. Responsibilities include:
- Leading Curriculum Management and Accreditation
- Coach and implement classroom management strategies
- Preschool operations including quality assurance, and facility operations
- Developing strong relationships with our teachers and staff
- Complying with state childcare licensing regulations and Goddard’s quality assurance standards
- Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

Qualifications:
- BA or BS Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or related field
- Prior Managerial Experience in a Preschool Setting
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Superb Organization, Time Management, and Multitasking Skills
- Strong knowledge of preschool curriculum

Pay: $61,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
